The Fairbirds

The Fairbirds are an English folk-pop duo formed in March 2013, combining the song-writing and vocal talents of Ronnie Haar and Louise Sofield.

In 2012 Ronnie decided to combine his passion for birds and music and released 'Songs about Birds', an album of 12 self-penned songs about 12 different birds, inspired by birdwatching, and celebrating mainly British birds. Ronnie also supports conservation causes such as the RSPB's 'Save the Albatross' campaign, with one of the songs raising awareness of the albatross' plight.

Louise has a background in jazz and drama, and has released her own album, 'Things in Life', composed of jazz standards and self-penned folk-tinged originals. Earlier in her career she worked alongside bands such as Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet. She has sung at most London jazz venues, and appeared in the film 'Sid and Nancy'. She's currently a member of the 16 piece acapella choir 'The Shout'.
